We have three dogs enrolled in Banfield wellness plans and have generally had positive experiences, which is why Paris’ first visit was disappointing. Her appointment was at 3:30 PM. We called ahead because we were running late and ultimately arrived around 3:40 PM. We fully acknowledge and take responsibility for being late. However, we were already inside the clinic at that time waiting behind other clients at the front desk. When it was our turn, we were told Paris could no longer be seen. After repeatedly asking whether an alternative was possible, we were eventually offered a drop-off visit. We also asked several times to speak with the veterinarian in person but were told this was not possible because she was very busy. We ultimately communicated with her only by phone. This was very different from Paris’ brother Kingston’s first Banfield visit just one month earlier, which was welcoming and lasted approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Finally, Paris’ rabies certificate was issued with her name incorrectly documented as “Baris,” and we had to request a corrected version. We understand Banfield’s need for a late-arrival policy. Our concern is how the situation was handled and communicated, particularly during a first visit. We hope our feedback helps provide a more consistent experience in the future.

Do not recommend this place at all. No compassion for my dying dog and front desk staff said they can’t fit her in and they don’t have iv’s anyway. We went to another vet because it was an emergency. It states it is a hospital, false. When trying to cancel membership after my dog died , I have to pay for all services ( only one visit when I signed up). They could not cancel unless pd in full so I have to call back in 4 months to try to cancel again. Very unprofessional place in person and over the phone. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I truly appreciate the professionalism, the knowledge and advice to keeping my dog healthy. They were caring and thorough. I also appreciate the opportunity to use the payment plan available. This helped out alot.
